Cases/Field Service Platform

From spreadsheets and phone calls to one live view

Field service platform with a four-tier permission model — technicians, foremen, project managers and admins working from one live picture.

THE PROBLEM

How it looked before

Field work was coordinated across spreadsheets, phone calls and paper. Nobody had a live view of which jobs were running, who was on site, or what had actually been completed. Project managers spent hours a week assembling status from scattered sources.

WHAT WE BUILT

The solution

  • Standard User — technicians register work, log hours and upload documentation from site
  • Foreman — supervises a crew, approves registrations, manages the day's assignments
  • Project Manager — owns projects end to end, plans resources, tracks progress against schedule
  • Administrator — full system control, user management, master data and reporting
  • Launch planning system with a checkbox progress tracker and a Cockpit dashboard for management
  • Process optimisation workshop and a rollout presentation for the Polish partner organisation
WORTH KNOWING

We simplified the permission model mid-build: an earlier Input Manager role created more handover friction than it solved, so its functions moved into the Administrator role. We design against how people actually work, not the org chart.

Outcome
One live view of every job, crew and hour
Stack
React · Vite · Tailwind CSS · Supabase
