Web and search traffic

Sites built to capture leads, and content engines that keep organic traffic running.

For many businesses organic search is the channel with the highest buying intent. People who search are already looking. The problem is that it takes content at a pace that needs either a writer on staff or an expensive agency retainer.

We build the site so it captures leads rather than just looking good, and the engine that keeps the content coming without anyone having to remember it.

The site

Built to convert

Measured on whether people get in touch, not on whether it looks nice. Clear next steps the whole way through.

Estimators and forms

The tools that get a visitor to hand over their details — price estimators, checklists, multi-step forms.

Speed

A slow site costs both rankings and enquiries. We build it static wherever that is possible.

The traffic

Automated content

A managed topic backlog worked into search-optimised articles and published straight into your CMS.

Category landing pages

Pages aimed at the specific things people actually search for, rather than one front page trying to catch everyone.

Topics chosen by people

The backlog is filled from what your customers actually ask about. That is the part that decides whether it works.

The sum is the build cost against a year of agency retainer

A content engine costs something to build and almost nothing to run. An agency retainer costs the same every month, year after year. For a business that lives on search traffic that is usually an easy calculation to make — which is why we put both numbers on the table before you decide.

How we deliver

The same approach whatever the area. You can stop after each phase, and you know what the next step costs before agreeing to it.

We map it out first

Ninety minutes going through your processes to work out what can genuinely be automated. You get a clear picture of what is possible and what it would cost.

We build on a fixed price

One- to two-week sprints, each ending in a demo. You know the cost before we start, and you own the code afterwards. No lock-in, no long contract.

We keep it running

Service plans covering maintenance, support and extensions as the business changes.

Is this the right place to start?

If two or more of these sound familiar, there is usually something to gain. If none do, we would rather say so now than after a proposal.

  • You depend on people finding you through search
  • The content has stalled because nobody has time
  • An agency retainer is hard to defend in the accounts
  • The website looks fine, but no enquiries arrive

Questions we get asked

Is automated content not just spam?+

It can be, and then it does not work. The difference is that the topics are chosen by a person from what customers actually ask about, and that there is real subject knowledge behind them. An engine that simply produces text in volume gets penalised, not rewarded.

How quickly does it work?+

Organic search is slow. Expect three to six months before it moves anything, and longer in a competitive field. That is exactly why automating it makes sense: the effect comes from keeping at it, not from doing it well once.

Do we need to read the articles ourselves?+

We recommend it, at least at the start. You know the subject, and one error in a technical piece costs more credibility than ten articles earn. Some clients approve everything, others spot-check after a couple of months.
